Reviewed in SAILING January 2010:
Those who have been sailing for a while, or who are readers of one of the finest yachting magazine's Yachting Monthly, will remember Des Sleightholme, its former Editor, and they will know well the 'Confessional' columns he created about 25 years ago.
The Confessional is still perhaps the most widely read page in the magazine, and in this wee booklet, YM Deputy Editor Paul Gelder, in collaboration with world famous cartoonist Mike Peyton - he has drawn over 2000 Confessional cartoons over the years - has come up with a hand-picked selection of misadventures so readily confessed to be yachties.
It is the perfect pick-me-up for the day when you are depressed because the weather simply won't allow you to 'get out there' and sail. Alternatively, keep it at the bedside; reading a page or three would really make for a feel-good 'nightcap' before retiring.
