Reviewed in SAILING January 2010: Paul Gelder and famed saiing cartoonist Mike Peyton are at it again, with another collection from Yachting Monthly's 'confessional' column. 'Further Confessions' is a worthy successor to the first collection. Again, there are giggles aplenty as the text and drawings depict the misadventures and the embarrassments of sailors who were quite happy to 'confess their sins'. But among the laughs, are a few lessons for most of us. We've all had our moments of madness whilst sailing. And whether we wish to confess or not, we would surely, on reading some of these incidents, at least mutter to ourselves "There but for the grace ..." And itsn't it just so much better to learn from the mistakes of others rather than your own? So read, enjoy, and hopefully, sail on with less chance of doing something stupid.
